To be honest I've never had anything other than the beef and chicken combo fajitas, add a side of sour cream to the order and you're good to go.  They've got some of the best fajitas I've had in the area.

If you're up for some casual dining and fajitas this is the place to go.

My wife and I have been patronizing this place for about 6 years now on a weekly basis and it's our go to place for fajitas.
The salsa and chips aren't too bad either. I like that they provide butter for the chips too.
If I have a complaint it's that the flour tortillas can be a little on the small side sometimes.  They make their own tortillas and they are very good but they really need to learn how to make tortillas of a larger diameter.

Tino's was just ok. The day that I came to enjoy some lunch was a day that the support staff was short. Plenty of seating was available; however, they did not plan for many patrons to solicit the restaurant on that day. Chips and salsa was available and was pretty decent.

For lunch, I ordered the chicken and beef enchilada which came with rice and beans. I wasn't a fan of the sour cream sauce that came with it because it was a bit thick and bland. I literally had to scrap the sauce off of the enchilada and use the salsa. Beans and rice were well seasoned, so no complaints there.

Aside from nickle and dime for tortillas,  chips, etc. the picante salsa is bland, like generic bottle salsa, the most flavorful part was the scan cilantro. The Bandera and Flauta dinners were at best BLAND. The Charro beans, no flavor. The bells, onions and such were in there, but no flavor in the beans. The guacamole was literally mashed avocado only. THAT IS NOT GUACAMOLE.  The queso was some vile concoction of fake cheddar and chicken broth. Unedible is a kindness. The Flautas literally tasted like someone shredded fried chicken and rolled it in a tortilla then fried it again. The Bandera Chicken enchiladas were so bland the best part was the salty sour cream sauce.

In other words, Ponchos Mexican Buffet offered more variations and choices for the $34.00 wasted here at Tinos. But, I don't smoke or have any bad habits that destroy taste buds. I could have made better Mexican cuisine at home for 1/3 the money using items from the 99 cent store. How anyone could rate this food more than two or three, is beyond me?

All that being said the service was not bad, the bathrooms were clean, the atmosphere is actually nice oh, of course you do have some people who don't know how to auto volume control themselves and tend to be a little bit loud LOL. But all in all this was definitely a waste of money, and I will not be back.

They need to completely terminate every single kitchen staff member and rehire people that know how to cook Mexican Cuisine. We should have gone to Rodriguez on Lake June Rd, even with the added drive distance, it would have been a lot better. I had better food at a Hospital, like Baylor.

I came here the first time. I ordered the lunch cheese enchiladas dinner. It was full of onion very little cheese. Actually everything tasted like a frozen TV dinner.

Best food ever. The staff is great and friendly. Kid friendly too! The food is to die for. They never screw it up and their chips and dip are amazing. Their freshly made tortillas go
Straight to your heart! They are the bomb.
